PRODIGY prod-i-ji
(- noun)
- A young person who is unusually intelligent or skilful for their age
- Any person or thing that causes great wonder
- A child of precocious genius or virtuosity
Prodigy ‘09 is a one of a kind event that aims to bring Prodigies across
the length and breadth of Delhi & NCR schools into one arena and pit
their wits and talents against each other in a variety of competitions.
It is a BUSINESS ORIENTED EVENT for the school students. Enjoying
the first mover advantage, we aim to tap the energies and capture the
attention of all creative, innovative and talented minds of the age
group 16-18 years by the means of an intriguing order of events which
shall take place in Prodigy. The intentions of the same are in
consonance with the SSCBS philosophy of spotting and developing
business talent of the youth in the country.
Our aim, in organizing Prodigy ‘09 is to refine the perception and
thinking of the students towards Management Education and show
them the exciting and rewarding prospects of the same.
Prodigy ‘09 would be a one-day event organized on the
2bth of October from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm at National Science Center,
New Delhi.
The event will test the participant’s analytical and creative skills as
well their knowledge of, and interest in, the world of business by
means of three different competitions- Acumen (The Brainstorming
Quiz), Marketing Pitcher (The Market Campaigning Competition) and
You Trade (The Virtual Videos Trade Game). The pressure and stress
that the various competitions will place on the contestants will ensure
that mental toughness could well become the factor that will separate
the best of the best from the rest.
